After school, students receive caring supervision, steady homework support, and focused English and math practice. The program includes homework help, fun activities, and free pickup from schools in Hacienda Heights.

Online Practice · Vocabulary, Listening & Reading
Choose a grade, explore word meanings and examples, then build understanding through spelling, fill-in-the-blank activities, and reading comprehension. Students can practice independently, and parents can sign in to preview activities together.
- Study vocabulary with meanings and examples, and explore illustrated reading passages.
- Listen, pause, and resume, with word highlighting during supported playback.
- Student accounts save submitted answers, with explanations and missed questions to try again.

Learn Together · Art, Languages, Math, and Technology
Explore weekend classes at FACES in Hacienda Heights and Walnut, including art, English, reading, math tutoring, keyboard, JavaScript, and circuit design. Build skills, discover interests, and learn alongside teachers and friends. Spaces are limited—register early!
A $50 annual registration fee applies to all students, including those in free classes. Walnut volunteer art class: Sundays, 3:30–5:00 p.m.
Government support may help cover tuition at FACES
Families who meet the income requirements may apply for PUSD childcare assistance to reduce education and childcare costs.

Afterschool Care
Daily homework support, reading and math practice, plus art, STEM, and other enrichment activities.
High School Math
Covers algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and AP Calculus with an emphasis on conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
Free Community Math
Led by volunteers to help students strengthen fundamentals and build confidence.
English Writing
Builds narrative, expository, and argumentative writing skills from organization to style.
English for New Immigrants
Focuses on practical school and community English to strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Roblox Coding
Uses a familiar platform to teach Lua and JavaScript-related concepts through engaging interactive projects.
Class Schedule
Regular Hours
- Monday to Friday: 3:00-6:00 PM (afterschool care)
- Weekends: specialty classes and enrichment clubs
Actual class times may vary by program. You can indicate your preferred times on the registration form.
Tuition Notes
- Family registration fee: $50 per student
- Program tuition varies by class and may be paid by check or cash
Parents can view individualized tuition and payment status anytime through the parent portal.
